The decision to develop a Y-shaped plenum was therefore a simple one.This design offers significantly improved flow with virtually no added weight. We engineered the plenum's exterior to minimize weight. The do88 high-performance plenum weighs 0.66 kg (1.46 lb), the original weighs 0.27 kg (0.60 lb), and a competitor's cast plenum (IPD) weighs 1.13 kg (2.49 lb)!Original parts are often designed for the effect the car has when it leaves the factory.
