The 4H-Tech short shift travel (developed and manufactured in the Netherlands) is a mechanism that shortens the lever travel of the gear knob from one gear to the next. Not to be confused with a shortened gear lever, which only reduces the height of the gear knob! The gear knob always remains untouched with this system. The 4H-Tech short shift travel reduces the gear shift travel by 25-50%, depending on the vehicle and type. The gear changes are then significantly sportier, faster and more precise than the original, which also improves performance on the race track (track day).
